I’ve always wanted to create kids books, but thought of it as a very very distant dream, one I would never live out, but not long after I moved countries things changed. It was a deeply unsettling and dark period of our lives, and Dr. Seuss’s book “Oh The Places You Go” became a great source of comfort for my son and me. I felt just as scared, frightened and lost as he did and yet I was expected to be the adult and have all the answers and solutions, but inside I was breaking as much as my son was. It was through this experience, I started to write and paint again, and soon I began to create kids books for adults, books that dealt with more complex life situations but could be explored with children too, while providing the adult with a comfort blanket. These books are kids books for your inner child, which can be shared with children or indulged in alone. The choice is yours entirely.
